Hard Floor Policy In effect since May 31, 2019 for Mountain View Terraces

As per MVT Estoppel Certificates dated May 31, 2019, and the Corporation Bylaws which state “excepting the first floor Units “ all floors in the Residential Unit must be covered with wall-to-wall carpet and underlay except for the front entrance, kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Exceptions exist for grandfathered units as per Bylaw xviii page 57, that can replace existing hardwood floors with non-carpet flooring but must implement the most recent and best sound proofing underlay. The owner can replace hardwood flooring with carpet. Under no conditions can the owner replace carpet with any flooring other than carpet. The Board reserves the privilege to interpret the Bylaw.
