Location of Mountain View Terraces
Mountain View Terraces resides on approximately 4.5 acres of land. We are surrounded by about 3 acres of parkland which we own and maintain. We have about 0.5 acres of roads and visitor parking. The balance of the land is taken up by the buildings. The surrounding grass covered park contains many different types of trees, such as crabapple, pear, chokecherry and fir. Check out these photos in and around the area for more information.
Mountain View Terraces is located in the community of Springbank Hill in southwest Calgary. To the west we are a 20 minute drive from the hamlet of Bragg Creek and about 90 minutes from Banff National park. To the east we are about 30 minutes from downtown Calgary, and closer still is the shopping center of Westhills, about 5 minutes away. Just 5 minutes north of us on 69th street is the Westside Recreational Center. The district of Discover Ridge lies to the south of us.
We are members of the Springbank Hill Homeowners Association (SBHHA). The Springbank Hill Homeowners Association was incorporated as a Society in 1997, with its purpose outlined in the Application to the Registrar of Societies. The Springbank Hill Homeowners Association is responsible for the maintenance of the parks in our area, snow removal in the parks, among other things. The City of Calgary is responsible for maintaining the trees, watering the parks, applying pesticides and snow removal along Springbank Blvd. For details about the Springbank Hill Homeowners Association see their website.
